I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.

Sandton mall is a world class rated Mall.I would expect a world class service from male waiters, unfortunately the waiter was snappy and condescending. He didn't acknowledge or practice any level of intelligence, I'm guessing it's a cost measure that needs no attention.Basically this male waiter didn't not take time to explain the menu nor did he respect the patron.Its unbelievable in a mall that has a variety of different cultures.The 2 tables next to us received their males before any of our meals arrived.I had to ask the manager on duty what is the mix up and the waiter serving my table said that there was a 10min delay after all other meals arrived.The standards have dropped but its unfortunately the case in this new economic environment.Shortly after he showed his good qualities to other patrons and paid attention to the detail and menu plus cracked a joke about drinking but his attitude was a real stink up. Side note you cannot run a restaurant with a shortage of condiments it is unethical and you cannot interupt someone's meal by taking condiments away to the next table.It is very rude and offensive.it is...

A couple of friends and I visited Mugg and Bean Sandton City on Saturday and I must say that this has been one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while!

From the on set, we were welcomed in with smiles and warmth from the waitors ( Which I must say starts off the experience well).

The presentation of the food was perfect. That Monte Cristo salad is surely one of the best meals on that menu! Great portions, warm and just absolutely delicious.

But one of the best parts of this experience was the service received from our waitress Kai. She was extremely helpful from the get go, so kind and attentive aswell. She is quite the funny one and really friendly. Her suggestion for the salad was spot on! We got our food on time and enjoyed the entire experience.
