Nando's The Glen — Restaurant in Gauteng

We had to wait a very long time in a short queue to place an order. The gentleman taking the oders was on slow motion. The portion size was smaller than at other branches. When ordering the avo and halloumi pulled chicken boujee bowl ( with extra pulled chicken) it's usually served in a plate and not a bowl. More than half of the bowl consisted of rice. I don't know what happened to the extra pulled chicken as there was hardly space for chicken, avo and halloumi on top of the heap of rice. Our table was dirty and I had to use hand sanitiser and serviettes form the hand washing station to clean my table. Nandos is my ultimate favourite restaurant, but I will not be supporting this branch...

When we arrived there it was utter chaos. It was so packed that two different families were basically sitting at one table. When we finally got a table, the plates of the previous customers were not cleared until we had to call the waitress (who by the way kept ignoring us). It was only when we asked the manager for assistance that she came to clear the plates. On top of that, people who came after us were serviced swiftly and were constantly checked up on. They are lucky that their food wasn’t so bad. They must really work on their crowd control. The service was so bad that I want to give it a zero but I can’t so I...

Arrived at the venue, the tables were not cleaned for over 15 min, that's including the waiting time to purchase. Tony (single service star is for him) at the Till was doing well as he was engaging. The other staff members were just relaxed. Sat at the table for 10 min before they can clear and clean seats.
