I don't know how a company can set up a website, accept orders, including payment and then be completely confused as so what they should be doing. I just placed an order. The delivery charge is steep but they also do frozen food and deli in the delivery so I simply added on a full complement of convenience food to make it worth it. 2 hours later and so far I have had to call to find out why my order is not getting processed (Oh, sorry, we did not see it.")", been told that they do not deliver to my area (They accepted my order, with my address.) and then was told I must pay more.
I get told the delivery person is finally leaving but he is very confused about what my address is and has to call me to ask it, despite it being clearly included with the order. Finally, they are simply refusing to deliver. The website says a 7km radius. I am more or less at about 7km. But apparently they actually meant driving distance. Either way, I put in my address to test if it would be accepted. It was.
If you're going to implement this, then do it right. Otherwise do not do it.
I will be opening a case of fraud due to non-delivery of goods.
Added: I have also now received a call, 2 days later, from the owner/manager of this restaurant who continued to fully place the blame on her erstwhile customer. Aside from interrupting every time I tried to talk she then followed up with "Ag mam!" when I tried to point out that taking money from someone constitutes a legal contract that are just unwilling to abide by. I am still completely flabbergasted at the fact that someone can operate a business in this way and still very annoyed by the continued inconvenience around something that was supposed to provide me only with...
Read moreThis is such a lovely Italian restaurant. The food was good, I’ll admit you can probably find better pizza in joburg but it’s still very good. The starters we very tasty and I like that they bring you complimentary bruschettas. The vegan salad was delicious and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a lighter dinner option. The portion sizes are generous as well and you definitely won’t leave here hungry. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful but a little bit unprofessional. The restaurant is decorated nicely and has quite a cosy feel, definitely a nice spot for date night. It is a bit on the pricier side but not ridiculously expensive. I get the impression it gets quite busy so if you’re planning to go on the weekend I would book, during the week you should be fine as a walk in. It is wheelchair accessible. There is parking available in the centre but you might end up having to walk quite a way to get to the place. There is also no in house toilet and you have to use the centre’s restroom which is very nice just far away from the restaurant and you have to go up the stairs. Overall I would definitely come here again, it’s a...

I have never been so disappointed or unwell from eating out. On Wednesday night, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs from this restaurant, and within 15 minutes of eating, I became violently ill. I spent the entire night from 9pm to 4am with severe vomiting and diarrhea.
The illness was so bad that I had to take the entire day off work on Thursday, and even now — days later — I am still unwell and dealing with ongoing diarrhea.
Food poisoning can happen, but what’s completely unacceptable is the way the restaurant has handled this — or rather, not handled it. Since reporting this on Thursday, I have not received so much as a phone call, apology, or any concern for my wellbeing.
This isn’t just about one bad meal — it’s about basic customer care and food safety. If a customer becomes seriously ill from your food, the least you can do is investigate and follow up. The silence speaks volumes.
I will never eat here again, and I strongly urge others to think twice before dining at this...
