Steers — Restaurant in Gauteng

I'm very much disappointed with the service i got today from this guy called Vincent. He was very rude and doesn't have a good customer service. He never communicate with his customers yet he knows he doesn't have the lids. I mean i ordered 2 ice creams and slush but i waited for like 30 minutes. When i asked about my order he told me he doesn't have lids. I asked him about the two ice creams i ordered and i really didn't appreciated how my slush puppy was left open with no lid and it was unattended for like 10 minutes...i dont remember ordering juice. When we asked for his name he was so rude and he refused to give us his surname. We asked to cancel the order coz of the poor service we got. And he asked why and we told him that he has been serving other people that came after us. I mean its an ice cream they don't have to cook it. He had the audacity to tell us we can't cancel the order whilst we've been waiting for like 30 minutes And when he finally cancelled it he refused with the receipt for cancellation told us it was gonna be used for authorization. Please make sure you hire people who are compitent and can remain kind to customers. And also please keep the place clean and spacious since we have to wait for 30 minutes when ordering...

Our experience at Steers Northgate was nothing short of disappointing. My wife and I ordered two chicken burger meals and paid extra to upsize the chips. What arrived was clearly below par — the “large” portions were smaller than standard, and only after we asked for an empty packet to prove it did the staff top them up.

The real problem, however, was the food quality. The chicken burgers were dry, flavourless, and carelessly made. The tomatoes, onions, and lettuce were stale, clearly not fresh, and the buns were dry and slightly hard. The overall meal felt like it had been thrown together without care or quality checks.

For R235.60, the experience was poor value and far below the standard one expects from Steers. This branch needs urgent attention to food freshness, portion honesty, and service consistency. It’s disappointing to see a once-reliable brand let its quality...

Great experience! When i read the reviews I was a bit nervous but my experience was excellent✨️. The service was great the ladies were lovely and pleasant to speak to.
