We recently hosted my daughter’s birthday celebration at Classic India Restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is convenient and welcoming, making it easy for our guests to gather. The food was absolutely delicious — everything was served hot, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. Our guests kept complimenting how tasty it was, and the service stood out because the team made sure starters and main courses were served separately and in the right order (unlike many other places that bring everything at once). This really allowed everyone to enjoy each dish properly. A special thanks to Dhruv, the owner, who personally managed and helped us with everything. His attention to detail and support made the entire celebration smooth and stress-free. The staff managed our group of under 50 people seamlessly. The service was prompt, attentive, and professional throughout the event. On top of that, the per-plate pricing was very reasonable compared to the market, making it excellent value for money. Overall, Classic India is a fantastic choice for celebrations. Great food, organized service, and fair pricing — we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!

The Parthas were fine. Yes Fine; The lamb bunny was "sweet"??; more alarmingly it was soggy and unrecognisable. In the pictures posted you can see the amount of lamb and the white bread. The bunny is beyond recognisable. In fairness I did contact the restaurant and aired my concerns with sent posted pictures. Alas, my words fell on deaf ("don't really give two hoots") ears; hence this post. The bunny chow is a South African traditional meal and to serve it with flagrant "disregard" is not only insulting, but at this price, a crying shame (to be euphamestic)! Spend your hard earned cash on a true South African bunny.

Went to dinner at this restaurant with my family. A very warm and inviting atmosphere, with complementary poppadoms on arrival we felt that the staff were very attentive and friendly. The menu demonstrates a wide variety of foods including some Asian cuisine and many types of curry. The food itself was very delicious and beautifully displayed. This restaurant is highly recommended for lovers of Indian food and a good night out.

Has Classic India outlived its Tasteful days? A very poor experience considering I have been to this place in numerous occasions and every time it has been a great experience, until now. Can it be because, we were the only guests on a Tuesday evening. The moment we realized we would be the only ones we could have stepped away, however my past experiences said no its gonna be fine - which proved otherwise. The chicken starter was chewy instead of having soft texture(which was brought to the notice of waiter who gladly reheated the starter for us and said its all fine), the Manchurian had a hint of staleness. The main course was no different either - The chicken bhuna was not at all same as before, the Dal makhani was slightly burnt and the paneer tikka masala was way too sweet. I need to think twice before visiting you again especially on weekdays. We had this special dinner planned but we did not enjoy it at all. A complete waste of time and effort today considering I stay in Sunninghill and there plenty of restaurants here which could have made this dinner evening special. You were chosen for a purpose and great past experiences but I...

I ordered two platters ( non- vegetarian R145 and vegetarian R125) as it was my dad's birthday. I received it from Mr Delivery as they said the delivery is free... I received the items (it felt so lightweighted) then was told by Mr D that there's a delivery charge because it exceeded a certain limit (this was not the initial agreement )... So anyway ended up paying Mr D.

Then opened up the platter to find how mediocre and unappealing it looked. It didn't look very pleasing on the eye and the samoosa was drenched in so much oil. I was shocked to realize I paid that much money for a very below average looking platter. I tried to salvage it by adding more presentation on the platter. After trying the platter, a few hours later I got an upset stomach and honestly I was not surprised.

Really disappointed with what was produced at this restaurant today and will not be purchasing anything from...
