Their Puri and garnishes arrived with the meal unlike the traditional, arriving before the meal. The Puri was absolutely divine; the combination of saltines and flavour was tantalizing. Best Puri I've tasted. The restaurant was hit by load shedding while I was there, there was a temporary candlelight moment before their generator kicked in. Music kicked in a few minutes after the load shedding, but everything worked almost a few minutes after load shedding. More than enough curry, even after I demolished the rice that came with lentils and sambels- I took the curry as a left over. Their curry lacked a bit of flavour but their rice and lentils had a very delectable homey taste. Cheapest glass of wine is around R55 and the curry comes with the rice (good value for money) the waiter was very friendly and easily accommodated me moving from outside to inside. He also gave me a blanket for the chilly weather outside and informed me of the vegan wine options, which I found pretty informative. This place also had an impressive wheelchair access slope and lift 😀, from seafood, meat and vegan options it really appeared to cater for all. Haven't seen that in a while. The views from the outside deck were so tranquil. There was also the option of sitting on the third floor which I assume had better views. In addition one of the waitresses instinctively brought a glass of water with a lemon in it when I started choking (curry down the wrong pipe🤣); great service. Toilets with bag handles and clean.

The food was ok but I had to return my very hard wedges. None of the waiters introduced themselves nor did they bother informing us on the specials. I can't get over the irritation from these gentlemen when requesting help. I had to ask the lady with brown hair assisting us, Nuse, for her name because she was sooo annoyed as we asked for different packaging after she brought me dirty take away containers, claiming they all look like that. She was getting more irrate every single time we needed something, like we were bothering her. The view is the main thing enjoyable here but this undermining lady was one of the off-putting things about this place. It's just bizarre and quite sad to me how black and coloured people will mistreat you if you are a non-white customer at these places. Something owners should look into to and incorporate into their training!

Come to this amazing seafood and sushi restaurant every time I’m in the area! It’s so nice with the beaches front views and amazing sunsets. The service is consistently good from beginning to end. The seafood is so fresh. I highly recommend all the sushi including the platters, wide selection of rolls and the sashimi. Great options for thick and creamy milkshakes, and a large wine list. Even can order MCC by the glass not the bottle. Love their snoek and sweet potatoes cakes which are deliciously flavoured. Finish it all off with one of their delicious desserts: personal favourite is the tiramisu which is a creamy take on the classic coffee soaked treat. Very Covid safe with well spaced tables, lots of outdoor dining options. The temperature checks and sanitizer at the front make it feel safe.

We got here ordered our drinks and wanted for our food. What's crazy is that people who came in after us were served their meals before us.

When my husband asked for the manager, Inga approached us and was extremely rude saying it's not fast food restaurant! The issue wasn't the waiting but for people who came in after us to get their meals before us, ordering exactly the same didn't sit well with us.

The rude manager leaves our table saying 35 minutes is not long to wait! We would have accepted an apology because mistakes happen, but the rudeness and arrogance left me unsettled. Not long after, an older man who said he was the owner came to our table and sarcastically says that i can write my review later, I should not allow the food to get cold and that i must write his name in the review too, he didn't even give me his name or introduce himself!!

All we wanted was a lovely lunch out, but this bad experience left a bitter taste in my mouth, and yes Mr owner your restaurant may be full but courtesy to your patrons and lack of arrogance and just a little service takes you a longer way!! Remember that!

In response to your feedback Excuse my oversight on my incorrect waiting time!! We received the menus at 13:09 and I have a picture of the menu and the time was displayed. Although they said a 35 minute wait is reasonable, we only received our food at 14:07, which is a entire hour later! I'm happy to share pictures of our menu which has the time of when we ordered and pictures of the food...

Bit of a strange one this...

So... beautiful setting, nice cocktails for sundowner. We ordered a calamari which was very fresh and tasty. Then had a few more drinks and decided to stay for dinner.

Then only my wife's dinner arrived (chicken kebab - tasted nice). The waitress realised she'd forgotten to put my order through, we laughed it off as we were having some drinks and not in a hurry or anything. My burger then showed up quite quickly... It was cooked blue, pretty much steak tartar with a tan. I actually don't mind a bit of pink in my burger but I wasn't asked how I'd like it cooked. Then when I mentioned it to the waitress she said it shouldn't look that at all and there must of been a mistake in the kitchen. So grand, food goes back. On return, the same burger I took a bite out of was completely nuked to smithereens, all the cheese was scraped off and it was put into a new bun. I can only imagine I upset the chef or there are only two options, blue or black. And didn't even want to cook a fresh pattie, kind of weird seeing a bite out of it. I couldn't be bothered to send it back again so quickly ate said dry, now cheese-less, burger and left.

So.. a proper mixed bag and not sure we'll be back. Also, it was a little expensive for what you get but suppose you're paying...
