I recently had the pleasure of visiting the green Shed Coffee Roasters, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee filled the air, setting the perfect tone for what was to come.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the delectable pastries. They were incredibly fresh, with a delightful flakiness that melted in my mouth. Each bite was a testament to the bakery's commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
But what truly stole my heart was their homemade kombucha. It's not often that you find such a unique and refreshing beverage option. The kombucha was a harmonious blend of flavors, with just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. It paired perfectly with my pastry and coffee cake selections.
The overall ambiance of Shake Coffee Roasters was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and savor these culinary delights. The friendly and knowledgeable staff added to the welcoming atmosphere, making my visit all the more enjoyable.
If you're a fan of fresh pastries, beautifully roasted coffee cakes, and unique beverages like homemade kombucha, Shake Coffee Roasters is a must-visit. It's a hidden gem that combines quality, flavor, and a passion for the craft of coffee and baked goods. I can't wait to return for another...
Read moreBeing a coffee enthusiast traveler and reviewer as a hobby. We’ve only had bad experiences at the green shed. As tourists we often visit this area and decided to give it another chance. The one star is for the quaintness, charismatic and quirky setting. As quoted on your web page : “You strive to give the best cup of coffee each time every time.” We beg to differ! The staff making the coffees have no skills or perhaps barista qualities. I asked for a double espresso to be safe after 3 attempts of sending it back it was still horrifying as ever! First cup was wiped with a sour smelling cloth around the edges where ones mouth is placed. The second cup I asked for looked like the previous coffee grounds were re extracted had no depth or crema. The third time I asked where the crema was and coffee person was perplexed! Crema............???? Coffee tasted bitter and burnt like poor quality robusta beans. Although the beans are actually arabica. To run a successful coffee business the owners presence is vital and staff needs barista training and most importantly hygiene! Our visit was the 10...
Read moreTHE BEST MOCHA in South Africa hands down and a true gem in the heart of Wilderness. Upon arrival you'll be sure to get greeted with a smile at the counter when you place your order. Grab your table number and take a seat, you're in for a treat :) Their coffee is to die for and roasted on site so expect the fresh aromas to be bellowing around like pure bliss as you wait for your caffeine fix. They have a lovely menu filled with the most amazing freshly baked pastries, quiches, pies and a cake fridge of note. Trust me when I say you'll be spoilt for choice. And if nothing in there tickles your taste buds besides the coffee, they share their back garden with an awesome little sandwich shop that has recently also started doing breakfasts. Honestly a spot not to be missed and I highly recommend it.
PS - Their carrot cake is also a solid 12 out of 10, just saying :) on par with the mocha and even...
