Wimpy — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

Nothing beats a Wimpy breakfast and coffee but the service is very poor. My waiter disappeared until my plate was empty. Did not enquire if I needed anything or my meal was in order. I actually needed serviettes and a steak knife. When he resurfaced he told me he went on lunch. Really poor service but breakfast good. Just don't order an omelet as I ordered in and I could taste the old oil. The cappuccino also was cold. Eat in is better. Ordering to the room not a good idea. View of the sea beautiful though. Update: So today when I went to eat my usual breakfast I got quite the service. Female manager came to speak to me. Apologized. Undertook to tend to issues. Got an attentive waiter Mholi Ngubane. I recently visited Wimpy at Cabana Beach resort in Umhlanga and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. Today the waiter with his white rim hat got very annoyed when we walk to our table through the restaurant from the pool. We were wet and he had to mop the floor. He got really annoyed with us because of that. He didn't say anything, but his attitude and demeanor spoke volumes. I made the manager on duty aware of it and all she wanted to know was what did he say. Guys get it right you are situated right next to the pool at Cabana Beach Resort. Customers will swim and yes, we as your paying customers supporting you with our hard earned money. Get over the fact that your floors will get wet. It is part of the job and where you are situated.
