Al Razzaaq — Restaurant in Musgrave

Hi Guys, So I want to let you guys in on a very poor customer satisfaction I've experienced on the 07/02/2021. I was invited to Supper to a friends place in town and for my contribution, I had asked them to place an order Chicken Tikka from Al-Razzaq Musgrave and on my way, I will pick it up and head over to their place. We had ordered from Al-Razzaq plenty times before, even as Sit-in. So we knew their tikka is good. Upon Supper time, as we open up their parcel we find that our Chicken Tikka is actually more of grill. It lacked flavour, no tikka masala, dry to a point of overcooked instead of juicy. So naturally, you spend your money on a meal and expect the quality to be nothing short of excellence. So we gave them a call, told them we want the chicken replaced because of the reasons above. They asked for our address so we thought will be exchanging the chicken until we got buzzed and the gentleman dropped off raw tikka masala for us to paste it on the chicken. - Now theres a joke for you. All that effort and the end result was disappointing. I can assure you that we will no longer dine at Al-Razzaq and I encourage people, do not eat here, they claim to have your best interest but when it comes down to it to retain customer loyalty, they failed. God knows how ,any more experiences like this are out there, The thing is, I chose to put it out here. YOU WILL NOT GET VALUE FOR MONEY, HOWEVER, THEY WILL GLADLY...

The second time I’ve ordered from here and the food was sub standard at best.

Do not order any meat from this place. We ordered lamb chops. It was terrible. The meat was tough and rubbery and had a strong taste. The meat was either not lamb or was stored for a very long period of time.

When we complained we were told that it must be lamb and it can’t be anything else. The staff tried to convince us there was nothing wrong with it and seemed quite annoyed that we complained.

I would suggest that items be taken off the menu if they cannot be made to an acceptable standard.

I also ordered a chicken tikka and it was a average at best.

Ordered lamb chops. They gave me mutton instead, which is way tougher. The meat was old as it smelled and tasted bad. I complained. Afterwhich a lady staffer told me there's nothing she can do as "that's how their chops are/ are made" in a very vindictive and argumentative tone.

I politely let her know i havent eated the food, only tasted it, and that I wasn't trying to rip them off.

After complaining to management. We managed to get a refund out of the them. Although that wasn't easy.
