.Disappointed with the Wait, But Grateful for Amandaās Help
Iām really disappointed with the service I received from Steers at Musgrave Centre today. I placed my order over the phone 15 minutes before arriving, expecting it to be ready or close to ready when I got there. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes in-store for my order ā a total wait of nearly 45 minutes, which defeats the whole point of calling ahead.
What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of communication or urgency from the staff. No updates, no apologies ā just waiting.
The only positive part of my experience was Amanda from the Fish and Chips side. She noticed I had been waiting a long time and went out of her way to assist me and follow up on my order. Thanks to her, I eventually got my food. I truly appreciate her kindness and professionalism ā she was the only person who seemed to care about the customer experience.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Steers is known for quality food, but poor service can really damage the overall experience....

The call was made at 18:00 and due to it being wacky Wednesday and it may be busy, we gave them an hour to prepare the meals. We arrived at the branch @19:05pm. When we got to the till point to pay, we gave the cashier the name which the order was placed on. They cashier seemed confused. She then remembered us placing an order under that name we gave. She cashed up, gave us our slip and wen we went to collect our order, the ladies assisting in packing the orders acted like we were see through and completely ignored us. At this point we were confused and frustrated , i mean whats the point of calling and placing your order if you are going to wait in the same queue as the people who walked in and ordered?... 15 minutes later when there was no one at the pay point, i walked up to the cashier who assisted us and asked her what's going on because our order was placed more than an hr ago. She just said she forgot it was for collection, packed our things and gave us. The food was okay but the staff there don't seem to know...

Iāve never had an attitude like that with any employee in your store but this lady wow!!
Worst thing if Iām saying Iāll put a complaint against her attitude and her behaviour towards us, she said itās fine you can go ahead!!! How can you argue with a customer!!? Or maybe she knows that you wonāt do anything to her as their operator or Manager!? Iām not sure!!!
What happened is we bought āIce cream cornā because we love your ice cream!! , and the lady was helping us ,just gave us our ice uncovered with nothing she touched the corn with her bare hands there was no serviettes!!! And my friend asked,āHaibo Whereās the serviettes?ā And the lady replied with the attitude said thereās nothing wrong having ice cream without a serviettes.,
Firstly she doesnāt care about hygiene and bacteria!! Honestly we donāt know maybe she got a cut on her finger or hand !!!
