Disheartening Experience at Tippels: A Night Marred by Racism

Last night, my friends and I decided to watch the game between South Africa and Ireland at Tippels. We were looking forward to a great evening filled with excitement and camaraderie. However, our experience was anything but enjoyable, as it was marred by blatant discrimination and poor service.

Upon entering the establishment, we were asked to move several times because we were supposedly in someone else’s space. Each time, the instructions were vague and conflicting. The staff’s attitude was rude and dismissive, making an already frustrating situation even worse.

What stood out the most was the way we were treated compared to other patrons. As a group of non-white individuals, we couldn’t help but feel that our race was a factor in the way we were being treated. The staff’s hostile behavior and unwillingness to assist us properly seemed to reflect a discriminatory attitude.

It’s deeply troubling to experience such treatment in a place that should be welcoming to everyone, regardless of their background. Racism and discrimination have no place in our society, and it’s disheartening to encounter them in any form, especially in social settings where people come together to enjoy themselves.

We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. Unfortunately, our experience at Tippels fell far short of that. We hope that the management takes this matter seriously and addresses the behavior of their staff. No one should have to endure discrimination and poor service based on their race.

Last night I got a margarita pizza for myself which was absolutely amazing the first gentleman who served me was awesome and attended to me perfectly.

However before I left I wanted to order one of their burger specials for take away as another patron next to me had one and it looked delicious..

With the various options of sides I asked the new lady waitress for the onion rings and fries side but asked if at all possible if they could do more onion rings than fries. To which she retorted how this was not possible. (This to me is just stupid, even if that was not allowed she could have suggested an additional side of onion rings which I would have gladly paid for)

Anyway I accepted this but when my order came I was surprised to see only 2 onion rings with the burger and fries. What made the whole thing worse was that I for a fact saw the other patron before me get at least 4 onion rings.

I mean seriously 1 onion has at least 10 plus rings depending on the thickness. Where was the rest of that onion??

I feel the waitress purposely told the kitchen to add less or worse she took some off just to be spiteful.
