KFC Hermanus — Restaurant in Overstrand Local Municipality

I visited KFC Hermanus on 11th October and had a great experience. Despite the ongoing alterations and construction work aimed at improving the premises, the service was efficient and friendly. The staff were attentive and managed to keep the operation running smoothly, even with the renovations in progress.

The food, as always, was well-prepared and up to the high standards you'd expect from KFC. My meal was hot, fresh, and satisfying—the chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the sides were served promptly without any issues. Given how busy the location was, I was impressed by how quickly the orders were prepared and served, and there was no compromise on quality.

While the construction may cause a bit of inconvenience in terms of parking or seating, it’s clear that these improvements are meant to enhance the overall experience in the long run. The temporary disruption is easily overlooked thanks to the positive attitude of the staff and the consistently good food.

Overall, KFC Hermanus offers a solid fast food experience with great service, even amid renovations. It’s worth stopping by if you’re in the area and craving some good fried chicken. I’ll definitely visit again, especially once the upgrades...

I bought a meal on 20 Aug 2025 and lost my slip, which I need to submit to my company for my monthly expenses. Today, 25 September 2025, I’m back in the store to ask if they can help me with a reprint. Long story short, I didn’t have all the necessary detail to narrow down the search. The manager, Muzi, was so patient, friendly and helpful. He took time to search all transactions for the day, which was a tedious task, I imagine. After the bad experience at KFC Sandbaai this branch wowed me. The Q was long but moved swiftly. The entire system was offline and was cash only. But that didn't stop the awesome service from this branch. The lady at the till wrote on a very long list the orders and calculated the cost. And she knew the prices very well. Her helper asked our order shouted through the window to the kitchen staff and miracles happened. Food were popping out out like there was a team of 100 preparing it.
