I am giving you ONE STAR - it should actually only be half - because of your admin, which sucks. E-mails were sent, to and fro. I was informed of availability, and then I confirmed booking. A phone call was also made to check whether mail was received and booking was done, and I specifically asked whether I will be getting answers to my questions raised in the mail confirmation I sent. No indication was given that something was wrong. I asked pertinent questions in my confirmation booking mail - which was sent just about an hour after I received the mail which offered the accommodation I enquired about - about payment, 180 kms away from Hermanus, because I would need banking details to do an EFT which was not even replied to. Someone walks in, pays in cash for what was offered to me, and POOOOFFFF!!!! Gone is the room, and I get an E-mail saying the apartment is no longer available. This is BAD PRO and extremely SLOPPY ADMINISTRATION. I HAVE ALL THE E-MAILS ON RECORD.

But neither the street in front nor the entrance door turned out to be a nuisance (it was indeed quite comfortable). After it turned out that this was indeed the room I booked, we started to be happy and enjoyed our stay very much. Even the fact of not having the expected washing machine (some sports clothes were in dire need), had no negative impact, as washing was offered and issued properly. Trevor, Banash (?) and his colleagues couldn’t have been more helpful, attentive & gentle. The place was clean, modernly furnished and equipped with everything needed for an even longer stay. Since our arrival at the Esplanade in Hermanus, South Africa, a week ago, we have been warmly welcomed and treated with utmost hospitality. The hotel we are staying at is absolutely stunning, and the breathtaking views it offers are simply exquisite. Our time here has been nothing short of extraordinary. We loved being able to use the undergound parking garage.

One of the highlights of our trip so far was a delightful braai shared with friends. We savored delicious food, indulged in exceptional wines, and enjoyed the company of amazing people we had the pleasure of meeting. The culinary experiences we have had here have been truly outstanding.
