Read moreI don’t normally leave reviews, but I was honestly disappointed with my recent order from Nando’s. I ordered the chicken strips and spicy rice expecting a balanced, satisfying meal—especially for R100—but what I got felt like a complete rip-off.
First of all, they only gave me FOUR chicken strips. Four. For a hundred rand. The rest of the container was just a massive pile of rice. The strips themselves were fine—decent flavour, slightly dry—but nowhere near enough protein to balance out that mountain of spicy rice.
The rice was average at best. It had some flavour, but after a few bites, it just felt like filler. No vegetables mixed in, no real texture—just a bowl of carbs with barely any meat. It honestly looked like they ran out of chicken and hoped I wouldn’t notice.
For the price, this felt completely unfair. I could’ve gone somewhere else and gotten a fuller, more balanced meal. Nando’s is usually reliable, but this combo was a let-down. Definitely not...

You order something which you getting it in 45 minutes but after an hour, when you call them just to check up why the order is taking long, they tell you the person who took it forgot to put it under delivery and the order is just sitting there. And the other excuse, 'the driver was at the gate he tried buzzing your phone to let you know he is at the gate', how the hell am I supposed to know some strangers number calling me but when I try to pick up, they hang up, is the food delivery unless you inform me thats how the drivers operate, and they don't even call you to trll you the driver was there, you just continue waiting for your food hoping it's on it's way whereas they have already forgotten about you. When they finally deliver, the food is spilled all over the paper bag. Training for customer services is really needed in this Ruimsig Nando's. Never again, rather other...
