Oh dear. Mr Chan's used to offer a consistent experience. No more.

I ordered a few items through a delivery service.

The chicken chop suey was passable but, to my surprise, no longer includes rice. That's an added extra. (Okay, I should have kept my eyes open. Still .....)

Their speciality calamari salt chilli strips - which used to be fabulously full of deliciousness - were absolutely awful. And the bok choi? Well. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.

When you're accustomed to Mr Chan offering a 3 to 4-star product, and times are tough, and you think a restaurant would be trying even harder, well .... this experience was a total fail.

Worse. It cost me just under $20...

Went here and was not sure what to expect. We got the Mr. Chan special mix noodles, fried squid with chili and beef with green pepper and black bean sauce. The special mix and squid were very good and portions were as well. The portion of the beef was a complete joke and was quite disappointed with the portion we received. Totally unacceptable in my opinion.

Service was super good as all the staff was polite and welcoming.

I’ve been to Mr. Chan a few times, but unfortunately, my recent experience left me disappointed. The service was incredibly slow, and it seemed like the staff weren’t attentive. I’ve given it a few chances, hoping it would improve, but after this last visit, I’ve decided I won’t be going back.
