This is my first time dining with this specific mozambik but I have eaten at many others in and out of South Africa and have never had a bad experience till today.

The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, the indoor seating had an unpleasant sort of sour musty body odour smell mixed with food smells from the kitchen, as there was little air flow in the room due ro the doors all being closed (it was sunset i undersant that the sun shines directlyinto the restauran, but still and unpleasant smell), I chose to sit outside because of this, the smell was less but still a bit present.

The food was not to standard. the chorizo starter was quite off putting (usual a favourite of mine, i always order) the sausage itself was the issue, it tasted overly aged, almost af if it was close or even past use by date. For mains I had the prawn and calamari combo, the prawns despite being cooked perfectly lacked flavour and little sauce on them (I asked for garlic, lemon and herb, no such flavours existed), and at least half of my prawns were uncleaned as the vain was still present.

The service was alright, a bit slow but my waitress was a trainee so nothing unexpected, she is still learning. All staff were very friendly and often checked in. Also my request to change the calamari rings to squid heads was met, which I was...
