If I could advise anybody, I would sudgest you stay away from this place all together.

The Sushi is expensive so one would expect some wow factor,but is mediocre at best.

The onion rings were very oily, not pleasant at all, the sole was not bad but was probably the smallest they could find.

Had the bottomless ribs, first rib was not that big, as advertised picture was a double rack and got a single, this tasted ok, but not the best I have ever had, but them came the problem, the next rib was a 1/4 of the first ones size, it took a very long time to come to the table and the meat was tough and dry. When I complained to the manager, he brought me a full rack, but was probably the toughest piece of rib covered in Basting, and could see the managers having a laugh at my expense.

We continually had to ask for the sides we ordered or we probably would not have got them at all.

Pity there is not a Zero rating option, as that is what this ocean basket deserves. I travel a lot through the year and eat out a lot, and can say this was probably one of the worst dining experiences. First time visiting this branch n the service was not up to standard! I got there had to wait to be seated by a waitress and it was awkward because I keep standing at the entrance till eventually some came to attend to me. Then I got seated n had to ask for the specials of the day because prior the waiter that gave out the menu seemed too busy to tell me about the specials on to find another waiter will assist. Ordered my meal n got my meal with 4 to 5 chips🙄 yes it's a special but the chips were extremely little. No one came to follow up if I enjoyed the meal. N I still wanted to order wine but I decided since the service is poor rather not. Once I was done with my meal I had to try n get one of the waiters to get me the bill. She didn't even process my bill I guess since she wasn't my waitress. Eventually I had to get up and I grab anyone of the waiters to assist with paying my bill. The waitress that I had asked prior walked pass me didn't even acknowledge that she had maybe forgotten to attend to me! The waitress that eventually assisted with my bill still expected me to pay a till😳... How come??? Overall...

It was my first time visiting this Ocean Basket, and my experience was horrible, to say the least. I was escorted to my table and left unattended for more than 15 minutes. When I realised it had been quite a while with no one coming to take my drink order or check on me, I waved to get the attention of one of the managers, Rachel.

To my surprise, she simply looked at me with no reaction or interest in finding out what I needed. A few minutes later, a waiter finally came to assist me yet at no point did Rachel approach my table to check what the matter was, as you’d expect from a host or manager.

While waiting for my food, Rachel walked past my table again. I took the opportunity to ask her why she hadn’t come over earlier when I waved. Her response was, “I didn’t know there was an issue,” followed by a mumble in Afrikaans and then she walked away!

Honestly, I only stayed because I was hungry and craving an Ocean Basket meal. But after this experience, I can confidently say I will never set foot in that...
