Petdabang Pet Cafe — Restaurant in Jeju

I’ve never seen so many young children at a pet cafe. There must have been at least 15, and some of them looked 3-5 years old. I think that’s fine when they were playing in the dog room, because parents and staff could watch them. But in the cat room, I felt so bad for the animals.

They were especially rough on the poor kitten in there. Nothing malicious, but too rough for the poor thing. I only saw staff reprimand them once. I don’t speak Korean, or I would have said something. Also, it was impossible for me to play with the cats because a kid had a treat bag and would use it to lure all the cats to him. But he never gave any of them a treat for the whole hour. The only cat I could pet was the hairless cat because the kids didn’t like him and shooed him away 😢

The place was really clean and staff was kind. I just think kids should have to stay with their parents for the animals’ safety. And their own safety, for that matter! It’s so lucky that these are the most patient cats I’ve ever seen. Even with the rough handling, none of them nipped or hissed. I was...

I have been to numerous pet cafes in Korea and Japan and this one is by far the nicest.

Environment is clean, smell good, hygienic. Staff was also pleasant and welcoming. The dogs and cats wise……….. AMAZINGLY!!!!

No idea how they were trained but they were lovely, sweet, makes your heart flutter and wants to just hug and kiss all of them. And from the photographs on the wall, I could tell that several of the dogs have been there for a few years.

They seemed happy and well taken care off. Will definitely return visit when I come to Jeju.

Best and most loving boyes and girles in town. Admission only costed us our drinks and we got to spend time with some super loving dogs (they love a good cuddle). They’re all well behaved, friendly and are goofy enough to give you a good laugh. Each dog has their own unique hilarious personality.

Stumbled open this place by accident and what a happy accident it was.

Plus the drinks weren’t half bad either.

10/10, easily one of the highlights...
