Went to this place after seeing the google reviews.

Food is good but definitely not 5 star quality. Side dishes were very average, just a little pickled radishes and kimchi, nothing fantastic. Lettuce wraps came damp and soggy and not crisp. They also did not have perilla leaves which are standard for most restaurants.

Pork came pre sliced, would have preferred it to be cut tableside so u can be sure of the cut that you are getting.

Service was lacklustre and we had to ask for many of the side dishes ourselves as they were not provided upfront.

The only reason for the good reviews of this place is that they give u a free bowl of cold noodles if you show them that you have done a good review...

I have found my last meal. We got lucky and the owner cooked for us. He is an expert in his craft and this was one of my top 3 dining experiences of all time.

All the pork cuts were perfectly crispy yet succulent on the inside. If you want the juiciest cut, ask for the jowl (항정살).

They use a special two stage cooking technique (starting with charcoal and finishing on the pan). Combined with the excellent meat quality, their technique gave each piece a delightfully smoky coating.

Will be back here again. Would recommend to anyone...
