Jeju Beer Fountain Main branch — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

I think this is the only craft brewery in Seogwipo, possibly even on the entire island. The music, ambience, décor and seating are great. It's mostly frequented by Koreans with the odd smattering of foreigners. I had an Olle Trail, a radler, which was the perfect beer to start off with. I moved on to Love Like A Rose, which is an apple cider with berries. That was really good as well. You have free tasting options. The servings are 340 ml and 265 ml. You can also get them to-go. They serve pieces of sugared rusk biscuits, which is quite interesting. I WOULD LOVE TO AWARD 5 STARS. It is with great regret that I am unable to grant a 5 star review to what is a fantastic venue worthy of any beer lovers time, sadly this great tap room ran out of pizza at approx 2000h on a Saturday evening. By this time we were able to enjoy 1 pizza between our group of four hungry nomads! This significantly dampened the experience and meant that our group had to seek food elsewhere despite wishing to stay. We were able to sample the delicious cheesy fries and fried chicken. These were excellent. The selection of drink is wide ranging and staff are very friendly and clearly knowledgeable about their product. But for the pizza situation mentioned above, this would be a very strong 5 star...

I give the beer an easy 5, and the food a 4. The beer was delicious (I sampled the Olle Trail—light & refreshing—but ended up with the K-Pepper, not as spicy as I hoped but it was a delicious lager!). I ordered the signature pizza, which tasted fresh and high-quality! I will say, I prefer Napoli-style pizza and I would’ve gone without the ricotta cheese on top, but that’s my personal preference. Chips and French fries were okay, but hey—they’re free. On that note, the side pickles are SWEET!!! I was devastated. Please change to good, ole’ sour dill pickles… Otherwise, it was very delicious!
