PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE! At first I was really looking forward to a shiba inu cafe but after coming I was greatly disappointed. This is borderline abuse. All the shibas are abnormally skinny. You can tell the owner is just trying to make a profit out of these poor dogs. These dogs have long hours where they are trained to come to the door to greet you, and have no other stimulus other the environment of the shop. It can be extremely tiring to continuously have human pet you for 10 hours. The dogs would always be near the kitchen due to extreme hunger, and they were fed A F*ING ICE CUBE? You can buy their affection for 1000 won for 5 tiny little food. The female (black) and Male (red) would continuously fight (both sexual and anxiety) while the owner just watched and smiled. These dogs are highly stressed and extremely anxious. People have to look past their adorable faces and see their tragic environment, I have been to other pet cafes and the treatment should be much better. You can also tell they are malnourished as their fur coats are shaggy and...
Read moreThis is absolutely my favorite cafe in all of Seoul. It doesn’t get super crowded. The owner and his partner are both super sweet and kind. The owner is the gentleman and always has his three shiba inus: Miyoo (마유)- the white one, Meeka (미카)- tan, and Mizeu (미쯔) the dark brown one.
The dogs are so cute. Sometimes they play and run around. Other times they’re resting on their sofa in a place reserved just for them so they don’t get overwhelmed by customers.
They have teas, coffee, and super delicious macarons. You can also buy a small sachet of treats for the dogs. They will run over and sit or do some simple tricks for you as you feed them.
The music is calm and relaxing. The atmosphere is just so chill. Perfect for hanging out with friends or going alone to get some work done. Sometimes dog cafes can be smelly or loud. This one is neither. The three super cut shiba inus are just so sweet and fun to watch run around and play.
Whether you’re visiting Seoul or live here, this cute cafe...
Read moreI went on a Sunday at about 6pm and I was the only person there. I dislike animal cafes because people use animals like toys and pester them for photos etc. However, I love this place because it's basically just a cafe and the owner brings his three dogs with him. They also have their own space to get away from annoying people, if they wanted to. Overall, the dogs were really relaxed and chilled. I just sat and read for an hour or so, and one of the dogs jumped up next to me to look out of the window with me, so that was nice. The next time I'm in Itaewon, I'll be paying them...
