Soseoul Itaewon — Restaurant in Seoul

Hands down, one of the highlights of our trips to Seoul! We couldn't resist coming back to this gem three times – that's how exceptional it is. Their special, featuring a mouthwatering array of meat offerings, is an absolute must-try. The fermented fish sauce adds a unique depth of flavor, and the accompanying veggies are simply delicious. Plus, having real wasabi on hand is a delightful touch. If there's one small improvement I could suggest, it would be to include perilla leaf and cold buckwheat tea on the menu. Went there with a group of friends. Absolutely lovely experience. It's one of those places where you prepare the BBQ by yourself. They only have pork and beef, but they ran out of beef, it was end of evening. The pork was some kind of special spanish pork meet, very delicious and didn't get dry at all. The locals are doing it by themselves, but one server literally did it for us - for 20-30 minutes she was preparing the meat for us, explaining all the sauces etc, as we didn't know anything. Went here as a group of 7 off a whim as we wanted some kbbq and I still think about this meal every now and then because it was so good.

We went during dead restaurant hours (around 2-3pm) and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The person who i presume to be the owner was very friendly, spoke only a little english regardless the service was great. He helped us cook our food often and guided us, maybe because we were the only ones in the restaurant but it was nice.
