The other day we attended this restaurant in the hopes of trying out the food. No one was at the door to greet us. I thought the bell on the door would have alerted people to our presence but no one cared. The restaurant was empty except for two or three people at one table who didn’t even seem to be eating anything. We sat at an empty table and waited for 5-6 minutes. The place was deadly quiet. I honestly thought the place might be closed. After about 5-6 minutes passed, someone finally came out. Someone from the kitchen told him to tell us they’re fully booked. The restaurant allegedly opens at 11am. It’s 5:00pm. The restaurant is basically empty. I checked NAVER’s booking and shockingly they’re “FULLY BOOKED”. Not sure how you can be fully booked at 4:00-5:00 and have a basically empty restaurant. If that’s the case, don’t waste my time. Put a sign up at the menu kiosk at the street level entrance. Tell people on your Naver Maps description you don’t want customers that don’t book. I’ll never waste my time coming to this...

Ilpyeon Sirloin Gangnam specializes in aged beef barbecue, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to expectations. While the beef was decent, it lacked the depth of flavor I’ve enjoyed at other premium barbecue spots. For a restaurant in this price range, I expected more in terms of taste and overall quality.

The service also left something to be desired. Unlike other premium barbecue restaurants where the chef personally grills the meat to perfection, the grilling here felt less attentive and lacked the finesse that elevates the experience.
