Using Korean ingredients is one way to express a Korean-style cocktail, but a cocktail in which a Korean takes a foreign liquor and interprets it with Korean sentiment is also a Korean-style cocktail (I believe this is more difficult, more precious, and more delicious).

Anyone can make a cocktail, but making a delicious one is truly difficult. This bar is staffed with the best bartender in terms of sense, skill, and talent (In Korea, there are still more amateur bartenders, but the bartender here is a world-class mixologist. Furthermore, his craftsmanship are worthy of respect).

The bartender speaks English well and is well-versed in various cultures, so they will be an excellent guide.

I've been coming to this bar approximately 8 years+, this is my first time at a new location since they have been relocated last year.

Owner bartender Han-byul speaks great English and also very warm accomodating, he's unbelievably knowedgeable and also passionate about craft cocktail.

there is a menu that often gets updated but if u communicate witht Han-byul for ur cocktail trust me he will find the right one if not best one for u.

During my week-long trip to Seoul (last week of Jan 2025), instead of trying different bars each night, I had the fortune to chance upon this bar first. I visited three times over the week because it was that good and I did not feel a need to try and find better.

Great music, friendly people, amazing cocktails (around ~20k won). Tried the old fashioned (bourbon and rye versions), negroni, manhattan, espresso martini, strawberry fields forever, maverick, sidecar. They were all delicious.
