Beautiful cafe with amazing views over the Han River. Got the Velvet White blend for a Latte. Advertised as a more fruity blend, for people that like Ethiopian blends. Milk texture, temperature and latte art all fantastic however the coffee was lacking its coffee flavour. In both lattes we could only taste the warm milk. Normally I would’ve left it but at 9,000 won being on the pricier side, flagged this with the staff. They took it well and as a service offered to make another cup with the same blend, however this time as a “flat white” which I normally order, however this was not on the menu. On receiving, we only received one flat white rather than two. When suggesting it was both lattes that had the same issue, it seemed either it was not understood clearly or they were not keen to make another replacement, and left it at the one replacement. The flat white, while being slightly more flavourful than the previous, still tasted too milky unfortunately and I couldn’t taste any of the flavours I expected from an Ethiopian blend, of which I’ve had quite a few in Seoul.
All in all, the service was good, the space was beautiful however this coffee at a very premium price left a bit of a bitter taste. Other coffees such as filter coffees might be better here however I don’t think I’ll be back here...
Read moreI visited Bean Brothers on a rushed day, but the moment I stepped in, I was taken aback by how beautiful the space was. The café offers a stunning panoramic view of the Han River — I truly wished I had more time to fully enjoy a cup of coffee with that million-dollar view. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I really hope to come back here on my next trip to Seoul.
I highly recommend this place for heartfelt conversations or a peaceful self-date. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to slow down and savor the moment. I genuinely...
Read morePros. Beautiful views of the Han River and coffee is great. We found the desserts to be quite tasty as well, especially the shortbread. Did not feel pressured to leave early.
Cons. Seating is a bit difficult as you need to register for the waiting list and they seat you based on the exact next table available, even if you were open to waiting a bit longer for a specific table (for the view). We understand as it’s their system to ensure a seamless flow for a nice space, but it felt unnecessarily stiff and did not make the...
