First and foremost, I’ve had the pleasure of personally visiting Dior Cafés across the globe, from Paris to Miami, and have always been pleased with the attention to detail. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Dior Café in Seoul was a significant contrast from the standards I've come to expect.
From the moment I arrived, I felt a stark difference. Despite numerous available tables, I was seated at an undesirable spot, tucked away and lacking amy ambiance. This was disappointing, as the café was not overly crowded, and better seating options were clearly available. I wonder if only coming as a party of one gave me an an ideal seat.
What was most disheartening, however, was the service. I specifically requested a latte with the signature Dior logo on top, something I had seen in numerous reviews online as recently as a month ago. Read moreThe cafe itself has wonderful, luxurious ambience, with plush seating, a fabulous sunset view and lots of sleek finishes; but the food doesn't match the atmosphere unfortunately. You might also need a reservation, walk-ins are not recommended (since the store assistants asked me twice before they showed us to the cafe inside the Dior store). Secondly of the desserts set, is it a fusion of Italian and Korean, or anything else? The caramel one and the chestnut flavour one that I can’t describe them, it’s mess. At last of the cappuccino, not recommended, if you just want to take a photo with Dior logo, order Latte is more better. One more thing, the biscuit is the...
