Hangukgwan — Restaurant in Seoul

We came when there was no one in the shop at night. The lady owner spoke no English and was impatient during the order taking. There was limited side dishes and when we asked for a top up she rolled her eyes and was impatient about it once again.

We tried to order 2 different jjigae as there was 2 of us and she refused. She only allowed us to order 1 type of jjigae but for a 2 person portion. There was another single customer who then came and managed to order a single serve of jjigae in a smaller pot.

The food was average with minimal ingredients in the budae jjigae. Overall disappointing experience despite the ratings...

My girlfriend and I are visiting from overseas and were looking for a place to grab a quick bite at 3:30 am. Since they are open 24 hours and close to our hotel, we decided to come here. The place was completely empty yet the woman inside aggressively gave us the X sign with her forearms when we started to walk in to indicate she would not serve us. You can see her in one of the pictures giving us the stinkeye. It was really odd.
