Daily Beer — Restaurant in Seoul

Wanted to love this bar because we had a great Apricot IPA there but unfortunately everything else was so bad I could never recommend this place to anyone:

service: unfriendly staff who made us feel completely unwelcome from the start. we were the only people in the bar and all three of the staff were too busy eating to provide any type of service or acknowledge us. We couldn’t even get a check when we were ready to leave so we just had to throw some money on the table and leave, and the bar had just opened 30 minutes ago so it wasn’t like we came in as they were closing

-beer: the Apricot IPA was great but the pour was so bad the glass was 35% foam

food: we only had the nachos but it was a bag of chips with some strange powder on top and a TINY bowl of sweet salsa and a cold cheese packet that was no where near enough for the amount of chips provided. Asking for the cheese to be heated up was apparently the biggest inconvenience possible for the staff- luckily it was so bad we didn’t care about eating...

Chicken was a bit too dry, but average overall. The cajun fries were really good though.

However, what lets this place down is the service. The tatooed waiter was unfriendly and didn't seem like he could be bothered at all, despite us being the only customers at the time. Every request seemed like we were inconveniencing him and the food was practically tossed on our table. At some point, both the waiter and cook left the restaurant completely unattended for 5 mins, which I hadn't seen before in a restaurant.

Also, bathrooms are confusing to access and didn't have soap, which is wild for restaurant where you'll eat fried chicken with your hands.

Would not recommend as there are far better chicken...

I was looking for chicken and beer and decided to try out this place.

It was cosy and filled with warm lighting. The atmosphere was excellent! Service was attentive and the staff were always finding things to do, which is a good sign.

We ordered the Soya Sauce version of their fried chicken and it was really good! Dripping with sticky luscious sauce, the meat was tender and well cooked! We also had the spam fries and it was addictive as luncheon meat will always be.

Their beer came in a very interesting Pyrex glassware so it was a good change.
