This mall is huge, and I don't even know where to start. The department store is listed in Google Maps, but for me, I would say it is a shopping mall. There is a big area on almost every one of the floors. I do not quite understand where my position is in here exactly. I manage to walk out in here. You can come here if you like shopping, especially for women. It is a heaven to you all. Majority are selling T-shirts, jeans, bags, cosmetics, etc. There are many options until my head feels dizzy. It is quite amazing that they have this type of mall in Korea. I am super jealous. I will keep shopping until I cannot move if it's available in my hometown. It's so wonderful. I love this mall.
Whosfan Store I came to this cafe for a coffee. You can come to this coffee shop if you like oppa and also K-pop much. I am confused because is this coffee shop open by a band called "VANNER"? The band already had their 3rd mini album called "BURN.". It is really good for them. I am not an idol of the Kpop Stars, but still congratulations to them. There is a machine that drops their picture. I saw a fan of VANNER, really excited about what she got. I have a great experience in here and enjoy my coffee too. I love this...
Read moreThere are many cute clothing items and more, but I have to share my terrible experience at Romi Story, on the 3rd floor. I went into the shop to look at some light blouses and dresses, so I took my time browsing the whole store to see what could fit me and actually look good with my skin tone (I don't look good in pastels, and unfortunately there were almost only pastel colors). I took a bit of time, and first off: I entered the store and greeted the shopkeeper in Korean, but she didn't even look at me or respond. Then, I noticed that she was staring at me while I looked at clothes, and it was a very judgy, mean stare. I smiled at her but she kept looking at me like I was disturbing her, and then she stormed out the store. I tried on a couple of things, but I didn't like them so I just left, and she was still nowhere to be seen. This behavior is unacceptable. It made me feel like I disgusted her, and in a clothing store for plus size women this is not the right vibe. Mind you, I am not obese, just slightly overweight and pretty tall, so normal Korean clothing items don't really fit me and I'm basically forced to look into plus size options. I strongly do NOT recommend this Romi...
Read moreI like the Lotte chain, there is something for everyone, be it ahjumma type grocery shopping at one of their hyper Lotte Marts, or high end shopping at Avenuel, or even frenzied tax free shopping for tourists at the Lotte DFS. Young Plaza by Lotte in Myeongdong has always been an extremely well edited, pulse on latest trend dept by Lotte. Ash shoes in fashion? yes there is a pop up there; Barbapapa makeup by 3CE sold out everywhere? Yes it's well stocked there. Line characters all the rage? ~ there is a little shop there, despite having the flagship less than 500m away. This is a great place to figure out what's happening in Seoul, and to use as a curated springboard into the wild world of Myeongdong...
