Hanmechon — Restaurant in Seoul

Overall terrible service. They seems not to know even very basic code of service. No guide to the room, no menu, no directions to a restroom and payment, everything. In the middle of the meal course, the food stopped quite long, so I asked if this is the end of meal course. Then, they looked to forget to serve next food. Guests should keep asking something to get served. Guests should find them by themselves. The food quality itself is fine, but overall weak savory flavor from Korean ingredients. They cooked the food in an authentic Korean way, but strangely no savory flavor for the ingredients. I don't know why. The smoke from the mosquito repellent coil was the worst. The smoke smell made me unable to taste the food. There are tons of other methods, but it seems like that they even didn't think about it. Very authentic Korean homecooking but in style. This placd serves package meal which comes with series of dishes from appetizer, main, and desert. This restaurant is located in the heart of BUKCHON or Korean old town near Ankuk station, exit 2 gate and walk straight (pass constitutional court on your left) and at the first traffic stop, it is on your rightside.
