Read moreWe literally ran in here because it started raining outside and was welcomed by a cozy white interior, gorgeous scones and layered cakes on display, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee and bakes wafting through the air. What a perfect vibe that stole our hearts!
𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗲 (𝟱.𝟱₩) This was surprisingly not bad. It was not too dry or moist but rather quite crumbly and its lemon zesty flavour was prominent with the icing adding some sweetness. However, we would probably go for their savoury ones in the future.
𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲 (𝟴.𝟬₩) Their cakes were straight out of a drawing with perfect even layers and a bright red raspberry sauce dyeing the sponge red. The sponge was moist and the sweetness was balanced with the tartness from the raspberry sauce. Every bite of this cake was delightful and paired so well with their hot drinks!
𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗸 𝗧𝗲𝗮 (𝟳.𝟱₩) We aren’t kidding when we say this milk tea was 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 months later I still yearn for this. Although it was raining and cold outside, the drink warmed us from inside out. They actually use Twinnings earl grey for their tea, and it was so comforting and fragrant we could drink another 5 cups! There isn’t an earl grey milk tea in SG that could match up to this.
𝗘𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 (𝟲.𝟱₩) People say that the coffees in Korea are top-notch and we can see why. Their Einspanner was a classic milk coffee made with the freshest milk, aromatic espresso shots, and topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder. The drink was so creamy and smooth, ‘satisfying’ would be an apt description of each sip of this!

Read moreMy favorite cafe in Seoul!!!! I make sure to visit Cafe Layered every time I’m in Seoul (even more than once per trip). I love their scones so much, I take them home with me too! 😁
It was my first time dining in and our experience was very pleasant. I noticed that even when the staff are all busy, they make sure to greet all the guests entering to ask if they are dining in or buying for takeout. We went there around 9am on a Saturday and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. We tried their raspberry cream cheese scone, earl grey cake, flat white, and fresh orange iced tea. Everything was amazing and service was good! The staff know how to speak in English so we never encounter any problems whenever we go there.
I will give them more than 5 stars if I could ! 😂💛
My personal favorites are the earl grey scone, lemon scone, and spring onion & cream cheese scone. I would love to try their blueberry cheesecake and lemon cake...
