Bukchon Guest House — Hotel in Seoul

This was my second time visiting Buchong Guest House. Last time was 2 years ago and it was a different location in the same area. I just trusted the new location because of the owner, SunJung, she seemed to be running the guest house very well...I could tell she really like doing the guest house and felt authenticity of good old day guest house. The new location was a bit smaller than previous one but facilities are new and breakfast was as great as 2 years ago! She helped us how to go to places and very accommodating. I rally recommend this place especially for the first timer in Seoul. The location is so convenient to go to places and museums. The area has many places to eat great Korean food. I will definitely go back to this guest house next time I...

Hi everyone, My friend and I went to Seoul from 28 Aug to 1 Sep and stayed at Bukchon Guesthouse. ||The host Sunjung ssi is super nice and friendly who speaks English as well. Great location near Anguk station (within 3 minutes!) and Bukchon Village sightseeing spots. ||Thank you for Sunjung who made us Traditional Korean breakfast which gives me a feeling of home. Also great suggestion on dumpling shop near by, both of my friends liked it very much! ^^||Strongly recommended tourist who would like to experience traditional Korean living style! :) I don't wanna leave after stayed here for 4 nights. ㅜㅜ" ||Last but not least, there is free Hanbok you could wear and take photo inside and at the door of the guesthouse. And I definitely will be back!!...

I really enjoyed my stay. It was so quiet and peaceful that I slept until 8:30 both days. I usually get up at 5:00am. Sunjung the host was really nice. She helped me with whatever questions I had. Also, the breakfast she provided every morning was delicious. It gave me a taste and feel for Korea I had not expected. Lastly, the home is conveniently located in a walking tour area. It is only about 10 blocks from Insa-dong, a small shopping area with lots of cute shops. I walked all these way to Myeongdong which is about 1.5 miles away.
