Magpie Euljiro — Restaurant in Seoul

my wife and i were visiting myeongdong from the USA and ordered some food from Magpie for takeout. it was an overall wonderful experience. Magpie is located on the 4th floor and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really pleasant and pretty relaxing (at the time i went— around 6pm on a thursday) service was great! in my very broken korean i asked if they could do takeout, but they speak perfectly serviceable english which is awesome. i was escorted to the bar to sit because the order would take around 20 minutes, and one of the workers offered me a taste of a beer on tap while i was waiting. great service—and the beer was really nice too (i got the bokja) another worker packed up my order very nicely and once my wife and i tried the food later it was excellent! seriously like a taste back at home, and to be honest probably one of the better pizzas i’ve had recently in general. we also got the chicken tenders and fries and everything was delicious. specially shout out to the different sauces included—their ranch was super good. highly recommend if you’re in the mood for some...

If you visit drunk, you might fall down the stairs. The incline is quite steep, so you need to be alert. The pizza has a thin, crispy crust and is lightly seasoned. If you're drunk, the food won't taste good without the saltiness. There are plenty of craft beers to get you drunk. It's not cheap, but there's an all-you-can-drink option late at night. Great vibe in a slick location on the fourth floor of a building on the north side of Euljiro. The beers were great (clean glasses and clean lines) and the service was excellent. The food looked great but we weren't hungry.
