Came here in the night around 1 AM. Google says it’s 24/7 open but lady working there said they will have a break in 30 min. No problem, we told her we will do take out. To make it “easier” for her I wanted to give the exact amount in cash, but apparently instead of a 100 won coin I gave her something else. Lady LITERALLY mumbled in an annoyed way in korean and THREW the coin over the counter back to me. As the coin fell on the ground I was busy looking for a 100 won to give her. After that I looked for the coin that fell on the ground, no apologies, didn’t even bother to help to look. As it was less then 100 won I didn’t bother to look for it because it fell under the counter. However, the AUDACITY. How rude can you be to THROW it back to a customer?? This is unacceptable and I REGRET give her the 100 won because I should have taken my money back and just walk out the store. There were 2 other restaurants in the same street open at that time so there was no need for me to eat there.
Really really rude behaviour which I have never encountered in...
Read moreI went there last night with my daughter. She was treating me to a meal and only had cash. The kiosk clearly said, “Order here, pay at the counter for cash.” So I asked the owner to confirm — “Do I order at the kiosk?” She was already not very friendly but said “yeah,” so we began ordering at the kiosk.
However, there was no option to choose “pay with cash” at the counter. So I asked her again — and this time, she yelled at me, saying we should have ordered at the counter if we were paying cash. That was already upsetting me the way she saying.
Then, when my daughter tried to pay with a 50,000 won bill, the owner shouted again, demanding to know why we didn’t have smaller bills. At that point, I decided enough was enough — we walked out without buying anything.
This was one of the most disappointing and unpleasant experiences I’ve had in this country. I hope other foreigners read this and avoid going through...
Read moreI visited here for a quick lunch and it was the right choice. You can order your food from the machine and wait for your number to show up. It was pretty fast and convenient. I ordered cheese tteokbokki and a variation of kimbap. Sauce of the tteokbokki was very nice, sweet and spicy at the same time. It comes with generous amount of cheese and fish cakes. Overall the portions are big and prices are cheap. You get good value for your money. It was crowded during lunch time due to lots of offices around Myeongdong. You need to make sure that there is enough space to sit down before ordering from...
