Iriwa (Orzán) — Restaurant in A Coruña

Update: recently gave the place another try after their official opening… got the classic again good news they are way faster, granted it was a rainy day and no one ahead of me but it took basically the time I paid + 2 min to make my drink. And they have ice chips now! Bad news: tapioca is still hard , but at least a little better than last time still seemed like it was from the previous day ( which I think is very possible as it looked like they were boiling a new batch, so maybe avoid being the first orders…)

Very very very slow. Probably one of the worst bubble teas I’ve ever had. The tapioca was rock hard and shrivelled, either they don’t know how to make it correctly or they are trying to save and using from another day. Also, one cube of use was melted by the time we got the drink… Suggestion, if you want to save a few bucks try taking away the useless packaging (string to hold that was just littered by others 50m from the place and sleeves that were also on the ground around the shop), but do not skip making fresh tapioca especially if that’s what you’re main business is. The classic milk tea flavour was good but really couldn’t get passed the about of tapioca given (very little) and it’s poor quality and very long wait time (3 people in front of us and it took over 30 Min to make, with 4 workers. Really disappointed in the whole experience was excited bubble tea was finally back in Coruña, but this was not worth it. I really hope they start making changes to speed up the process and invest in making...

Place is great and staff is kind and helpful. They got our tea ready very quickly.

The quality and flavor of the tea was really good. Great presentation too.

Don’t get discouraged by some of the comments taking about very long wait times. The place is just getting started and I’m sure they have details to figure out. Everyone deserves a chance and sometimes two.
