Cosy Italian Restaurant It is located between Playa del Duque and La Caleta in Costa Adeje, Tenerife South. The restaurant has recently opened its doors, it is small with a few tables where you can enjoy the Ocean view from the terrace and the atmosphere is cosy. There was pop music in the background. As soon as I stepped in, a smiley waitress welcomed us and accommodate us at one of the available tables but unfortunately, it was not on the first line even though I requested it on my booking notes. The menu is not very vast, in fact, there are only a few options for each course.I have chosen for my dinner the Pinsa Burrata with mortadella and pistacho. Perfect to share. The pinsa is crunchy and the burrata is soft, fresh and creamy.Grilled octopus served on mashed potatoes with sweet paprika. Overall was good, but I would have preferred the octopus to be less cooked. The dessert is a cheesecake topped with Nutella, not the traditional cheesecake but good.To help the planet and follow the KM 0 culture, the water is filtered and it has been served in a bottle of 700 ml, where you can read all the info about it.During my dinner, not far from my table, there was a couple with their dog, so the restaurant welcomes pets as well. The food is good and the staff is friendly, so if you are looking to have a meal while you are on lunch break from the beach or just want to dine in a quiet ambience far from the chaos, this is the right place. Positive note: it’s an authentic Italian restaurant. Negative note: the booking note has not been respected and I think it was a...

We came here on some interesting reviews and in search of good quality Italian food worth the price and this really was.
We were 2 diners, reserved in advance midweek in September. We had a perfect seat by the open window, where the sea breeze hits as you enjoy the sunset. The restaurant is small in size but they make up for it in food. It’s also in a very tucked away side street that perhaps you wouldn’t look for - please look for it!
We shared a Pinsa and gyoza to start, then an Entrecôte with fries and some grilled octopus as our main dish. Both items were cooked to PERFECTION and we know that both are so easy to get wrong. The wine selection is also great and they make a fantastic espresso martini!
Top all of this off with wonderful and attentive service, leaving with wonderful suggestions for the rest of our long gastro trip on the island and a desire to come back to Duquesa for at least 1 more dinner before we leave, especially to try the pasta next!! Thank you team for such a...
Read moreHaving been recommended by a hotel concierge( to save embarrassment I won’t name) we booked a table and regret that unfortunate decision. Upon arrival we were greeted by a plain unenthusiastic maitre de. We chose the pinsa (regrettably) starter, and if we could turn back time, we would. An Italian flatbread, unaccompanied by any garnish, such as olive oil on balsamic oil. Now our ultimate catastrophe, the highly rated entrecôte, it was simply the chewiest beef I’ve eaten since the dark days of the 70s or maybe even the 80s. Well presented and unadorned, it was only saved by the fact we had all evening to chew the poor beast. The wine, a nice Merlot, saved the evening from complete misery, that is until the restroom visit. In a word…Don’t, unless you’re in discomfort. In all honesty the only saving grace was one of the postres, a special, a well presented Strudel with a wonderful dollop of ice cream. I would avoid the carnage of the Bistro and head to a more...
