Il Bocconcino by Royal Hideaway — Restaurant in Adeje

Yesterday, 2nd of november 2024, we had the pleasure of dining at Il Bocconcino at the Royal Hideaway Corales Adults Only in Tenerife, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, perfectly matching the stunning views of the ocean.

Each dish we tried was a masterpiece, showcasing fresh ingredients and exquisite presentation. The handmade pasta was a highlight—cooked to perfection and paired with a rich, flavorful sauce that left us craving more. The seafood options were equally remarkable, with each bite bursting with freshness and finesse.

The service was exceptional! Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent wine pairings and making thoughtful recommendations. The entire staff radiated genuine warmth, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

To top it off, we enjoyed a selection of decadent desserts that were simply out of this world. The culinary creativity at Il Bocconcino shines through in every aspect, making it a true standout among the dining options in the area.

Recommended. To begin with, We were warmly welcomed by well-educated maitre. We enjoyed the service, however there are various points to improve. Some waiters need more pre-work education: to be precise, the young lady, who was very nervous and has the truffle grater broken, which causes the fact that we hardly founded 2 slices of truffle in our plate; and the gentleman, who could hardly answer our questions about the wine. It's better to leave it to sommelier, but as we haven't been advised any - it seems they don't have it. Now we come to the meat of the matter. The food is absolute adventure. The symphony of tastes, which expose in your mouth. For the dessert I'd recommend tiramisu with the secret ingredient. The vibrant experience indeed! The last but not the least, the wine is over-priced. 20€ is good for the bottle, but not for the glass. Some photos of our plates attached...

Came here with my partner for my 30th birthday . Both of us dressed up, my partner wore chino shorts as it’s hot weather . Reached the restaurant and was told I could enter but it “MIGHT” be a problem for my partner but they would “ASK” the manager . They made us wait for 10 minutes while they asked their manager if it was okay. Totally degrading , bearing in mind they had around 15 tables free on a Friday night . We were eventually allowed to dine, however made feel like they were going us a massive favor . Food was v average , service was robotic and rehearsed. Definitely avoid here...
