La Fuente — Restaurant in Adeje

When my kids entered the restaurant with an intention to order a pizza for themselves the owner didn’t let them to make an order by saying that the restaurant is full of people and that they need to make a reservation. This didn’t make any sense for my kids because the restaurant was almost empty so when they asked the owner why can’t they order the food she gave them a ticket that had a phone number on it and said to call on that number and make a reservation. My kids surprised told the owner that the restaurant is almost empty and that it’s none sense to make that reservation. When my kids said that the owner got angry and started screaming at them that they shouldn’t tell her what to do and how to rule the resaturant . She also said that she will not make the pizza for them and that there are plenty of restaurants around here so they should go somewhere else . After she stopped shouting and arguing with a kid they got scared and left...

Visited this place once, next time we brought our family over, got told that we are not welcome because there is 8 of us, there was only two people at the restaurant, we left. Shortly after m girlfriend came with 3 kids to get some pizzas and asked to did down as there were only 4 of them but got told “NO” 3 times. Found this very rude as it looked like a gold place to eat. Anyways there is a similar restaurant little further away if you will also get refused...

Auf meine Frage an einen Bekannten, welcher in der Region lebt, welche Restaurants man ausprobieren sollte, wurde mir La Fuente ans Herz gelegt. Um es vorweg zu nehmen, ja, es ist die Mühe Wert auch ohne Bus oder Auto den Berg dorthin hochzulaufen (falls Ihr unten im Tal Eure Zelte aufgeschlagen habt).

Damit ist das Essen auch verdient und der Rückweg bergab, an der wundervollen Küste bei Roca Negra vorbei, mehr als ein Verdauungsspaziergang.

Unsere Wahl (2 Personen - war Pizza) obwohl gerade die Lasagne dort ein Gedicht sein soll.

Die Anmutung der Gaststätte ist eher einfach gehalten, dass zeigen die Bilder hier. Insgesamt tut es der Qualität der Speisen aber keinen Abbruch - im Gegenteil. Ich sehe eine Köchin die mit Liebe mit der Bereitung der Speise beschäftigt, ist ohne einen Moment zu ruhen.

Die Pizza "al La Fuente" hatte für mich einen deutlichen Touch "dans la cuisine française". Das ist überhaupt nicht negativ gemeint, und bereichert den abgestumpftem Pizzagaumen!!!

Der Boden ist kross aber nicht trocken und ist für mich eine Fusion zwischen der klassischen neapolitanischen Pizza und einem Flammkuchen aus dem Elsass, welche immer hier und dort mit ein paar leckeren Zwiebelstückchen aufwartet.

Ich sehe es im Preis- / Leitungsverhältnis als einen Geheimtipp.
