I don't know if I'm speaking about the same person, but in the other reviews there is spoken about Mr. Love. I think he was the very nice waiter that served me and my family that night. Me and my sister were thrown over with compliments.
We even got the chance, totally unexpected though, to share personal stories such as what is the meaning of the necklace that I'm wearing. I even came to the point where I got to explain the meaning of my tattoo about my deceased mother. He said to me at that moment that it was the smallest thing he had ever seen with the biggest meaning he had ever heard.
He also gave us some hints of things we needed to visit while being on a vacation in Tenerife.
What I found very nice is that the boss of the restaurant could speak a little bit of Dutch. It was very pleasant to be addressed in your own language. We didn't know what to order, because it was our first time in an indian restaurant so we didn't know how it worked. The boss helped us and gave us some of the best dishes from the menu we could try.
While we were eating the waiters came and asked if everything was okay multiple times.
At the end of the evening every customer got a free shot of the house. They do this every time. Because I didn't like the first one, the very nice and handsome waiter gave me something else for the second shot. This one I liked better.
It was such a pleasant evening that we said to the boss and the very nice waiter that we would definitely go back there again for a second time. They know how to welcome and spoil there customers. My father said at the end of the evening that it felt like we were home.
It is such a bummer that after that night the restaurant was closed for the rest of our vacation. We went there every day to see if they were open, but every day we stood for a closed door. We felt something was off, but we never...
Read moreI would not recommend. Ordered a chicken karahi dish and they gave me a chicken jalfrezi instead--the difference is that a jalfrezi has green peppers. I could see peppers/capsicum in my curry and when i asked then if this is a jalfrezi, they said it is a karahi. Clearly it was not a karahi because it is not suppose to have peppers, karahi is made with tomatoes, garlic and lots of ginger. The so called karahi was also made with a ready made sauce. You are clearly able to tell that they have put a ready made curry sauce in a pan and heated it and cooked the chicken inside it. It tastes sweet and like water and there was no flavour in the food. The samosa i ordered were bitesize pieces that had barely any contents inside it and you are clearly able to tell that it was a frozen ready made samosa that was just fried in oil. There is no point eating there causr i can just fry my own samosa from the freezer and there is no point eating a curry that tastes like tomato soup with sweet peppers in them. The portion of the curry was so small that you cannot even feel full with it. They served more yoghurt (raita) sauce compared to the portion of the curry i received. What a joke. They also serve you extra sauces and rice even if you havent ordered it and then they charge you for it. What a joke!! They do not even know the difference between different types of curries. I found this even more astonishing...
Read moreThis is the best Indian restaurant we have ever had!
We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and we visited 4 times in the space of 3 days, 3 times for dinner and once for lunch!
The first 2 days we could smell the most gorgeous Indian food, but couldn’t pin point where it was coming from, after trying another Indian restaurant down the strip and being very disappointed, Spice Garden was recommended by a gentleman in a souvenir shop a few doors down and this restaurant absolutely made our trip!
The service here is next to none and the quality, freshness and quantity of food is outstanding! We were always welcomed with a smile and the decor throughout is so beautiful!
We recommend Spice Garden to absolutely anyone visiting Tenerife, I am gluten free with an allergy to gluten, we were constantly turning away from restaurants for their lack of gluten free options, but the attentive service and care the gentleman here provided tops this restaurant off to being one of our highlights of...
