1st time I ordered 2 pints and I wanted to pay with my revolut card on my phone, but the woman behind the bar rudely told me to hurry up and pushed the card machine under my phone before I got my revolut card ready and it charged my credit card instead. When I confronted her about this she just shrugged and went to serve the next person. No manners at all. Pretty sure this was the wife of the owner.
The place has no A/C just a couple tiny fans that do nothing.
2nd time we went to watch the football, the place was rammed which is fine I understand as it was the women’s World Cup final, but combine it being jam packed and no A/C, it was unbearable so we left. Also they had power cuts every 15-20 minutes.
Finally the toilets were tiny, made for dwarfs. Feel sorry for the ladies that has to queue...
Read moreWe went to this pub to watch the Queen's funeral, it was all decked out in flags and pictures of the Queen, BUT, I have to say the land lord of the pub, needs to have a good long look at himself, the place was full of people wanting to watch the funeral, he was banging around dragging beer kegs across the floor, making all sorts of noises, getting people who were watching the funeral to move while he did things, then, during the 2 mins silence he was making noises and completely ignoring the silence, he was just so rude, and so disrespectful however the lady behind the bar was fantastic, apologising for him, trying to be quite, my hat off to her,
The Brittania Inn is in tenerife, I'm not sure I will be visiting it again...
