Lloyd's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Alcúdia

Ah what a fantastic taste of home. Having lived in Finland for 20 years I've craved fish and chips like crazy! The fish and chips and scampi were all absolutely perfect and the icing on the cake was proper gravy and chip shop curry sauce to drown the chips in. The lady that served us was so friendly and welcoming and the restaurant had a relaxed homely feeling. I know today won't be our only visit on this trip. Edited to add: we've now eaten here 4 times😂 We're literally addicted to eating here and although we have tried other places, it's not unfortunately lived up to our fish and chips. Suomalaiset: Jos haluat tietää miltä fish and chipsin tulee maistua oikeasti, tule tänne! Se, mitä tarjoillaan Suomessa nimellä "fish and chips" on vain surkea kakkosluokan pettymys...

It's all about people - and great food! We found Lloyd's based on Google reviews and we couldn't be happier! Firstly, the restaurant is spotlessly clean. Secondly, the menu is large and food delicious. Thirdly, but definitely not least, the owners are absolutely amazing and the soul of the place!

We had so much FUN during our lunch, and we heard such inspiring stories about their entrepreneurial journey (being entrepreneurs ourselves)! This Finnish singing lawyer and my friend, a wealth coach, would definitely recommend Lloyd's for a relaxed, fun, good and clean dining and entertainment experience. Keep up the great work, you rock!

By the way, my 10 year old son would give 3 Michelin stars to Lloyd's and my 6 year old son would give 6/5...

The downside of Mallorca is that it is infested with German, English and Dutch tourists (I'm one of them!) – impeding the ease of connecting to the place and its inhabitants. One can frown at the many English pubs, German motorcycle stores, and Dutch Spar supermarkets. But an upside of it all is that this also comes along with a proper fish & chips store.

I would rate this better than the average chipper you find in the UK. The chips are a tad soggy (I don't have a problem with that) but nicely salted and the mushy peas are prepared well. The fish is also nicely battered and fried, though a bit on the oily side.

I ordered takeaway and found them both very friendly and helpful. Didn't regret my choice for a second and had a good...
