Sa Gelateria — Restaurant in Alcúdia

My experience at this establishment was very disappointing. My friends and I were initially attracted by the affordable prices for coffee and water listed on the menu. However, upon arrival, we experienced extremely poor customer service. We waited for approximately ten minutes before any of the waitresses acknowledged us, despite several attempts to make contact. The staff appeared to ignore us during this time. When we were finally able to place our order, I requested a takeaway water for €1.50, as clearly indicated on the menu. The waitress informed me that this was not possible and that the price was actually €2.50. She then brought us a new menu showing higher prices. No apologies were made on behalf of their mistake. Very delicious ice cream and nice employees. They were very helpful and thoughtful when asked about which ice creams where without milk and immediately looked it up to be sure without being asked to do so. They also told us that the wafer cone contained milk and if we were sure or if we would like a plastic cup. And lastly they used a fresh scoop for the cone.

As in previous years, the ice cream is superb and definitely a recommendation for everyone. My personal favourite is Mango, but I can also recommend all the other various flavours I tried so far.

Cocktails are served in small glasses. Ice scoops are not that big. However they both taste good.

Service is disappointing. We sat down to drink something. Before leaving we wanted an ice cream. The counter still was full of ice cream but when I asked for one the staff said 'we are closing, go to the other side of the street'. I asked for Nutella flavour in particular if they sold it at the other side. I got the answer 'I guess'. They did not have Nutella on the other side... And the staff member that refused to serve me an ice cream, just had to pick up a cone and give me a scoop. I won't be back there, would...
