Cafestore Adif Alicante — Restaurant in Alicante

This is a good stop if you need something to eat and/or drink, as well as to charge your devices while you wait for a train. The 100% iberian truffle ham meal was 14.95, a bit on the expensive side, but probably pretty standard for train stops.

The waiter was plenty friendly, let me know i could get a can of beer included with the menu instead of the caña that I asked for.

He brought up leaving a review of the store twice as i ordered and when i finished eating; its a little aggressive, but when i got a to go coffee he gave it to me free to bribe me to leave the review, so I had to agree at that point (that's also a disclosure that I received a free product to leave this review).

I think in the world of train layovers, you won't find much better of a stop. I'll be returning next time I'm in...

En el día de hoy a las 06:40,pido en barra un desayuno para llevar de Americano,donut de chocolate y zumo de naranja (zumo lo tomo allí)el resto de los dos complementos para llevar ya sea que como todos los días todo el AVANT de las 07:00h,luego de repetirle el pedido 5 veces a la camarera la misma me responde de forma desagradable que me relaje y que me espere que ella no se tomo aún su café y es muy temprano,seguido del vocabulario señal ante y sónico de Cariño relájate que es temprano y riendo. Consiguiente le digo que se relaje ella y que porfavor ponga mi pedido para llevar tal cual las indicaciones que le di ya sea que quedan 5 min para mi tren y cierran el control y no puedo acceder,continua diciéndome una y otra vez sin dejarme hablar que me relaje y que me tome la mañana con calma. Creo que señalar que dicha cafetería es una que da servicio a pasajeros que toman su tren y muchas veces el tiempo es primordial para no perder el billete. Le digo que me cobre el zumo que ya no quiero el resto ya sea que sigue hablando sin parar y recalcándome que me relaje y diciéndome de forma altruista y burlona REINA a la gente le gusta que hable así. Le pido a su compañera que me atienda xfavor ya sea que pierdo mi tren,la cual me atiemde todas las mañanas junto con otra chica morena q es son muy serviciales y atentas sin mencionar la rapidez y eficacia con la que tratan al cliente. Esta persona no duda en atenderme rápidamente y darme mi pedido en menos de 2 min.Sin embargo su compañera sigue con su charla y intentando iniciar una discusión conmigo a la cual le respondí que no son las maneras de dirigirse verbalmente hacia un cliente…me responde que tiene educación y que trata así a la gente y insinúa que estoy amargada y vuelve a a decirme riendo de forma burlona que tengas buen día Reina. Dicho suceso me conlleva a perder mi tren xq el control ya estaba cerrado. La falta de profesionalidad y atención me deja sin tren con la pérdida del importe en efectivo del mismo billete y la llegada tarde a mi puesto laboral. Creo que debería el gerente de esta empresa tomar medidas en cuanto a la atención y profesionalidad de esta persona. No soy ni su cariño ni su REINA ni necesito relajarme,solo quiero un café para llevar sin mas desde ya...

I always feel very comfortable going to the Cafestore when I am arriving in Alicante or before taking a train. The staff is super nice, you feel treated respectfully and friendly. I really liked the coffee, they have 2 different types of plant milks as far as I remember. Unfortunately, I cannot say anything about the food because they don’t really have a plant-based option expect a cup with fruit. But other than that the prices are very okay for a trainstation-cafetería and I was so glad that they had power socket because after travelling for a long time, my phone is always dying haha.
