There are some things that must be told about this place before going into the actual food. First, it is run by a young couple without help in the service or kitchen... and second, they are a lovely couple with a one-year-old that spends his weekend afternoons babysat by the grandparents so his parents can feed us, which by itself is something to admire about this family. Now, that being said, the food is excellent, a little bit underseasoned to my taste, but the flavors and the quality are definitely there. We tried the Provolone al Forno, the Eggplant Parmigiana, the bruschetta, the risotto, and some other entrees that were all delicious. Please note that this is not noted as a deficiency, nor is it something that would make me not return in the future... they can take some time to make your food, so if you are in a hurry, don't come to stress this wonderful family. A recommendation to the owners: please don’t rush the dishes. if it takes oven, let it simmer a bit in the oven; let people know it will take 3 or 4 more minutes and let it reach the right temperature. We also tried the cannolo and the lava cake, both great. Now the best part: The bill, a full 3-course meal for four, plus wine and drinks, was in the mid-90s euro (with a discount from the fork), but still, for the amount and quality of the food, paying 130 euros would not have been a bad deal either. Please come and support this great couple because they have a lot to offer to their customers.
PD: the person who gave them 1 star is...
Read moreI often pass by this restaurant without paying much attention to it. However, it turned out (upon the encouragement of friends) that we decided to visit. Considering that I have very high expectations when it comes to Italian cuisine, as I often travel and test Italian dishes almost everywhere, especially desserts like tiramisu, I must say that this restaurant deserves five stars. It is fantastic, and the price-to-quality ratio of the products, as well as the service and atmosphere, is amazing. I can happily give it 5 stars in...
