Cioccolato Puro d'Italia — Restaurant in Alicante

We stumbled upon this sweet little spot while walking by, drawn in by the eye-catching display of éclairs and desserts. Initially, we planned to just enjoy an espresso, but we were told that indoor seating was only allowed if ordering something sweet. While understandable, it wasn’t the warmest way to start our visit—a friendlier approach would have left a better impression.

We decided to try two éclairs: a mocha (coffee) one for me and an almond one for my mother, along with the espresso. The éclairs were fine but didn’t quite live up to their enticing appearance. Both lacked the depth of flavor we’d hoped for, and the glaze had an unusual gummy texture, missing the smooth and glossy finish that defines a truly great éclair.

The interior itself was modern but overly bright, with an abundance of lamps giving it an almost clinical feel. Add to that the early 2000s pop music in the background, and the atmosphere didn’t quite match the charm of the desserts on display.

Overall, the experience was okay, but given the glowing reviews, we expected a bit more. Perhaps the pralines, which we didn’t try this time, are where this place truly shines. The price-to-quality ratio was fair, so it might still be worth another visit to explore more of...

Greatest and most creamy ice cream in Alicante. Trust me, I’ve tried all of them already. The fanciest place, the most inviting one and none is like Cioccolato Puro d’Italia ice cream (don’t make me talk about their amazing chocolates) but we’re in summer right now and ice cream is all we want hehehe. Greatest and most affordable price for the tastiest ice cream in town! Give it a try, if you want, you can get a chocolate treat for yourself as well but please, try their ice creams first! and you’ll be as happy as me! My most recommended flavors are: peanut butter, Cremini(I believe is written this way), the strawberry one, Melon, and my most recent discovery the coffee one is amazing!...

I love it - the best ice cream in Alicante! Not too sugary, not too fatty, lots of milk free options and absolutely fantastic taste to suit everyone! Rich chocolate (all forms of it available, white, milk, hazelnut and dark ), real taste of strawberry, mango, pistachio is very popular, summer tastes like melon and watermelon - you name it! Very nice atmosphere and girls are always happy to see customers! Complete delight! We are now regular customers, as I can't compare the quality and taste to other gelaterias in Alicante and around.
