I truly hope they just had a bad night, because our visit to Koki sucked. Everything started out greatg. We ordered our drink, tapas and paella. The drinks were really good and we had a nice table. Then the tapas came. It wasn't good but at the same time not bad. It didnt really taste anything at all. All together all the meals tasted very blend. In the middle of the tapas a waitor (also their barker) asks us to switch tables so another couple can have our table even though the other couple could have taken the availeble table. After that everything started to fall apart. The paella was burned and oily as hell and we had to chase the waitors to get our check. The couple next to us had to do the same and in the end they just left without paying.

The restaurant was good at taking care of their newest costumers but forgot about them after a while. The service personal was all in all pleasent, except for the barker (the guy in white shirt) He was rude, ignorant and full...

This eatery is smack in the middle of Alicante's tourist heartland, around a church. Surroundings are atmospheric, amidst thundering church bells, passing walkers and a series of other pub eateries eager to secure your custom at their tables during 7pm towards sunset.

We had a mix of tapas (prawns, squid, dates wrapped in bacon, fried peppers) and a main duck confit. The tapas were fantastic, one of the best meals we had eaten throughout our week around Alicante area and southern Spain.

The confit duck was slightly tough and we have eaten much better (hence one star less) so would advise sticking to the tapas.

Front of staff are all jovial and obliging, making our meal a highly enjoyable one. Our kids got on well with our host and we even got a complementary surprise at the end. Highly...

Very bad service, not professional at all. Don’t go there. First they took us to another restaurant with a different menu!

It was raining and the staff went under the roof and they didn’t even bother about the customers and when we took our drinks and change our seat places , they chase us as we were criminals who’s trying to hide from paying even if we satt in the front of them and they saw we changed our places coz of the rain when they didn’t care about all.

Super bad and we will never visit this...

Delicious fish, prawns and pork with very fresh salad. The dates in bacon are so tasty with a hint of honey. And the softest and lightest of chocolate mousses! Attentive, friendly staff. It’s not pretentious at all - the value for money is excellent, great raw ingredients are prioritised over flashy appearances and it’s spotlessly clean. 5/5 for healthy, home cooked and hearty ❤️

Nice place and lively atmosphere but it gets quite busy at night, so you might need to wait until a table is available. We had a selection of tapas which we really liked and the seafood paella. The paella was good, but really big for 2 persons. The lesson of the evening was 'no tapas when eating paella'.
