We visited this lovely bakery quite a few times while we were staying nearby.

The service was really nice and the selection of pastries is large and were all very good.

Over our long weekend we had: Lots of latte - very nice and a good price Apple crumble square - Lovely well cooked pieces of apple with an amazing crumbly topping Apple & cinnamon filo pastry - very nice Ham & cheese croissant - very nice Plain croissant - very nice Biscoff croissant - very nice Biscoff doughnut - very nice

However what they didn't do very well was the Lotus Frappe we ordered! Firstly we saw them adding espresso to it, and my wife is allergic to coffee. They did happy remake it without the coffee (Nothing on the smoothies/frappe screen mention coffee so we didn't know it had coffee in) Secondly, it wasn't blended! Had a giant cube of ice at the bottom of the cup. Then they added the ice cream sitting on top of the ice with milk added on top of that. So once made and the straw added you couldn't actually drink it as all that came out of the straw was the milk! Had to wait until we got back to our apartment to take out the ice cube and try to mix the rest together. It was like the owner looked up the ingredients of a frappe on the internet and didn't realise it should be blended!

Overall we very much enjoyed everything (except the frappe!) that wet got from this amazing bakery.

El lugar tiene mucho potencial, pero aún hay muchos aspectos importantes por mejorar. La comida es rica, pero hay detalles que afectan a la experiencia.

Primero, el servicio es muy lento. Aunque algunas de las chicas que trabajar allí parecen esforzarse, sería recomendable contratar a más personal o brindarles un mejor entrenamiento. Por ejemplo, tuvimos que esperar 25 minutos hasta que nuestros cafés estuvieron listos, y a pesar de que no había mucha gente en ese momento.

Además, las mesas estaban sucias. Esto deja una mala impresión. Tuvimos que pedir varias veces que por favor limpiaran nuestra mesa, lo cual debería de ser algo que se haga de forma proactiva por parte del personal.

Otro detalle, es cómo sirven la comida: en una bandeja y un papelito (lo cual no se cuán de higiénico será la bandeja). Entiendo lo de la sostenibilidad, pero es que un plato de cerámica también lo es y deja una impresión mucho más profesional y agradable para el cliente.

El ambiente podría mejorar con algunos ajuntes: una iluminación más cálida en el interior del local haría el espacio más acogedor, algún tipo de música de fondo ayudaría a crear un ambiente más agradable, y también sería ideal mejorar la ventilación (hacía bastante calor dentro). Es un sitio muy ruidoso.

También, los precios son un poco elevados. Entiendo que tienen un obrador, pero algunas cosas tienen un precio excesivo para lo que son. Además, el café con leche sería mucho mejor si fuese un poco más grande.

En resumen, un sitio con gran potencial, ya que la comida tanto dulce como salada está buena. Sin embargo, sería muchísimo mejor si prestaran atención a los detalles, optimizarán el servicio y trabajarán en hacer el...
