Lizarran — Restaurant in Alicante

Always true to its franchise, Lizarran does not disappoint. An ideal place to grab a fast but delicious bite, allowing you to browse through their counters of tapas while your mouth waters. Every tapas is good, but there are some that are just amazing. Also in this location there were waiters coming and going with “just out of the kitchen” hot tapas, which were amazing. One of them was a small piece of breaded camembert which exploded upon first bite. Always fun to go to these pincho places. In my opinion, you get a more authentic experience than the “a la carte” restaurants...

I will do this review in English as I think it would be of most value to people from out of Alicante and Spain. This is a very well-located tapas bar, and all food is presented in a very colorful and visual way so that you are dragged in and stay there. Probably if you are foreign you wouldn't have a very professional criteria, but being Spanish myself I would never eat there even if everything else was closed. A good place to try tapas as they have a wide selection of cold and hot ones. The prices are fair for drinks and for the quality of the food you are getting. The staff was helpful enough to explain the various tapas they serve and offered us new ones that just came out of the kitchen as well.
