Nice location, no waiting to be seated, but of course, highly priced due to its location. Most of the food was just mediocre, but the service was sadly lacking as it took 3 hours to be served 3 courses for 2 people, which was a little frustrating. We timed the arrival of the bill and that took literally 1 minute to land, so no surprise there as that was the speediest part of the service coupled with clearing the tables. Multiple diners arriving after us got served before us and twice, we received drinks meant for a different table; it was about half an hour before our one and only drink was served. To be fair, the waiters were really friendly but very busy and just seemed disorganised. We had prawns in garlic and chilli sauce to start and they were delicious. Main courses were the Angus boneless ribeye steak (cooked perfectly) and lamb chops which were very tasty, but overcooked as quite dry and tough and only 2 of them had more meat than bones. The double-fried chips came as an extra and were served in a mug-sized metal basket which didn't look particularly appetising at first glance, but were spot-on; sadly though, in one of the portions, beneath the top couple of layers were a lot of rock-hard crispy bits that were just inedible. For dessert, we had crème brûlée, which was nothing out of the ordinary, and cheesecake which was indeed delicious, although we were told it was strawberry and turned out to be blackberry.

It was a disaster. I never had so bad experience in a restaurant. 1. I was oredered a Sangria and i told to the waitress im not a tourist i live here so please do not bring me a tinto verrano..than the "Sangria" was arrived....for 14 euros there is NO ALCOHOL in it. Non. Zero. The menu card was dirty and old...3. Steak. Lol 🤣 no comment see the photo below...no no. Exatly as you see in the photo. 3. Was ordered a Merluza to my wife. When she cut the fish some smelly stinky arrrrgggg hit my nose... and the fish was full of bones. When i told to the waitress that I never eat fish with full of bones like never in my life, she said: merluza its like that....bullsht. Every single restaurant serve a filet I repeat: FILET! NO MATTER WHAT FISH...Or a full body fish. BUT NEVER EVER half cutted fish with full of fishbones ( with the spine)....we have photos to proove....what a shame. The restaurant is in a very nice full of tourist place. The terrace its like a mc donlads terrace in the neighbour area. No stage, only plasticky chairs on the street stones...very poor, cheap looking terrace with a tent shade up.....So better if you eat a cheeseburger nearby.. Gabe David.

We ate dinner last night and had Senyoret paella €35 and grilled cuttlefish (with aove, garlic & parsley sauce) €16.50. Paella was not good. The worst we’ve had in Spain and very salty. The ingredients include a variety of seafoods. I do not recommend this dish. The cuttlefish tasted good but the sauce in reality did not look as special as described in the menu. A glass of white wine, €3.50 and beer €4. Tap water in a bottle cost €1.80. We were asked by the waiter how was the food and I told him the paella was salty. He justified the saltiness that it was because the seafood itself was naturally salty. Unacceptable reasoning. Not apologetic at all. No salvation here. The location of this restaurant is amazing. However, beware! The person sitting next to us almost lost his backpack. Since it is located where people walk, passersby may go unnoticed grabbing a bag. There was a failed attempt to grab the backpack. My husband saw it and informed the owner of the backpack. So be careful and be aware of your surroundings. Another note, a lot of vendors are so bothersome. They offer things they sell while we eat, and not once but 4 times by different vendors.

From the moment we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by a very rude waiter trying to get us to go inside instead of staying on the terrace, he was trying to mock us for wanting to enjoy the views from outside. We find a table and manage to sit down, we clean it ourselves as he was busy with other tables and we await for our menus, 10 minutes later he asks that I get up from my chair and more to the other side of the table as he needs a part of the table for a new guest. We finally order after 25 minutes and we wait for the food to arrive. Eventhough we asked that all dishes are brought at the same time, they were ouf course not. With a gentleman and two ladies at the table, it is rude to bring food for him and let the ladies wait. 28 euros for a steak and they cannot grill it properly, I asked for medium and they brought me rare, I sent it back and I received the same meat, still rare and completely destroyed on the grill, charged as well for the garnish which on the menu is included (did not pay for it as it was uneatable). Mussels came looking really good, only problem was that some of them were raw, some were dirty and not cleaned, some were dead and we found as well seaweed and hair in the sauce, ended up beeing sick for rest of the night, thank god no hospital. Please avoid this restaurant if you do not wish for food poisoning and getting mocked by the staff. I want to say that the focaccia was good, but even that was underbaked. Very dissapointing experience and...

I was asked to pay before I receive my food -- this after it took them ages to figure out how to bring me a menu. I was mortified! At 42, this has never happened to me anywhere in the world. I went back to my hotel and cried a few tears about it, feeling like maybe I look bad / untrustworthy -- but I realised this is not normal treatment in a restaurant. They didn't do it to other customers, nor do they have a posted 'pay first' policy. I was made to feel rude for asking why they did it to me, too -- I was told I could order dessert and they would run a second bill (weird!) and that they cannot trust the customers. Is Alicante -- but nowhere else in the world -- such a hotbed of thieves that this is needed? As for my 17 euro pasta, it was 'ok' but wasn't exactly what you'd call a full portion.

I was not about to have a second bill run and my credit card charged twice, for heaven's sake... I went and got my coffee and dessert at McDonald's next door instead-- that's how disappointed I was... the service was much better there!

'Ciao Miami' seems to only exist in order to strip customers of as much money from your wallet into theirs as they can easily get away with... which is not how you want to feel when enjoying a lunch. The chairs are cheap and uncomfortable compared to neighbouring restaurants... it's a...
