Urban sunset — Restaurant in Alicante

I've been wanting to write this review from my first visit 6 months ago, ( have visited 5 more times since then) I suppose I can't keep it to myself any longer, lol. US is just an incredible dining experience. In many restaurants, they have a nice menu, but maybe the seating is wrong, or the lighting to bright, but I feel that at US, they have really hit the mark in everything! The menu is the perfect length, enough options for everyone without being overwhelming, I have tried both meat, fish and vegetarian options and found them all to be 5 star quality both in taste and real gourmet presentation. The decor inside is modern warming and welcoming, with just the right lighting setting the mood for day or night. I loved the background music too (not a TV in sight, thank god). My friends and I had a fabulous dinner at Urban Sunset. There were four of us so we were able to try a number of dishes. Everything was delicious, but our standout favorites were: the ceviche, the artichokes (alcachofas) with foie, and the steak (chuletón de vaca). We had a great time and look forward to returning to work our way through the menu!

Delicioso!! Tiene fama muy merecida. Mi pareja y yo hemos ido a cenar ya que es un sitio bonito para ir en pareja. IMPORTANTE: Recordad reservar!! Sin reserva (por lo menos en verano) es difícil encontrar mesa disponible ya que el sitio no es muy grande .

Comida: Hemos pedido croquetas de roquefort, ensalada de quinoa y salmón, costillas, tarta de queso y muerte por chocolate. Las croquetas bastante grandes y jugosas. La ensalada de quinoa en mi opinion llevaba poca quinoa y demasiada hoja pero es cierto que la cantidad es bastante grande y el sabor y frescura de los ingredientes es adecuado. Las costillas estaban deliciosas y se deshacian, se nota la calidad de la carne y la profesionalidad de la cocina. La tarta de queso es de horno, que no suele gustarnos mucho (ya que la preferimos fría) pero el sabor muy cuidado. La muerte por chocolate está en efecto diseñada para los amantes del chocolate y aunque a algunas personas podría parecerles algo empalagosa, estaba muy buena y perfectamente cremosa por dentro.

Precio: Hemos añadido foto del ticket. Cena para dos un poco más de 50€. Los precios no son caros para la calidad del sitio.

Servicio: El camarero muy atento y amable. Nos ha ofrecido buenas recomendaciones y ha escuchado nuestras necesidades. Ha estado muy pendiente prácticamente hasta el final aunque al ser ya un poco tarde hemos tenido que ir a pagar nosotros porque no había nadie.

EN GENERAL: Muy contentos con el sitio y sin duda...
